Geez, this week sure has flown by! Why does it seem like time just goes faster and faster? Has anyone figured that out yet? Remember when you were a kid and it seemed one day lasted for.ev.er. You could do your chores, watch five episodes of "Saved By The Bell", organize your Lisa Frank stickers, conquer some games on your Sega Genesis, find Waldo, learn the entire dance to NSync's "Bye Bye Bye" AND keep all your Giga Pets alive . . . with time to spare!
(clearly I was a 90's kid)
Anyways, I'm still so happy to see that Friday is just around the corner. Hopefully we will get some more sunshine like earlier this week. For the first time this year I got to pull my current furniture project out of the garage into the warm happy sun to do my painting.
Even Whiskey is happy that Mom can paint outside again. She loves soaking up the rays.
Here it is! THE PROJECT. This little guy has great potential.
I should have some "after" pictures for you tomorrow. Let me just say it has turned out to be one of my most favorite transformations! Until then, here are some pillows I have recently finished. I especially love this yellow one, I'm kind of crazy about this color right now (furniture project spoiler alert!).
You can find these pillows in my Etsy shop.
I hope you have a great Thursday. I'm off to find my "Where's Waldo" book! Surely he hasn't changed much.
If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.—1 Peter 4:11 (NIV)
