In this previous post I showed you this adorable secretary desk that became my next project. I'm so excited to finally show how she turned out! As you can see she was in pretty rough condition, but sometimes those are my most favorite projects. The ones that need just a bit more love!
Remember my inspiration?! I came across these adorable lovebirds when I was browsing Pinterest. I fell in love with the color and the distressed details.
Here she is! I'm pretty excited with how she turned out, the color is right and the knobs are perfect.
The door on the desk was in pretty rough condition, so I decided to leave it off. It was an easy decision because I love how it puts the focus on the beautiful hardware.
I'll use some putty to fill in the spots where the hinges were, but for now I'm fine with simply enjoying my new secretary desk : )
Cool as mint!
What do you think, is it close to my inspiration?
Tomorrow is Friday! Yay!
Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.
—Galatians 5:24 (NIV)
