This Sunday, June 10th, Michael and I will be celebrating our third anniversary. I can't believe how fast those wonderful years flew by. We've made some great memories, but as I looked through a photo album from last year I realized some of my most favorite ones are from our second anniversary roadtrip to Michael's hometown of Haviland, Kansas.
I couldn't resist sharing some moments from that amazing trip . . .
On our way out of Boise, we had to take Whiskey and Banjo with us of course!
Pit stop in Kimberly, Idaho
Arches National Park in Moab, Utah
Colorado National Monument
Bents Old Fort in La Junta, Colorado
These two were amazing the whole trip! Even if they were a little cramped in the backseat.
Black Canyon of the Gunnison in Colorado
This is what happens when a self-timer takes ALL of your pictures.
Ice cream cone break!
Spoiled dogs? Umm...yeah
One good lookin' dude.
Finally, we made it to Michael's hometown!
Haviland, Kansas Population: 424 (seriously)
Where the hubby played his high school football games, aahhh memories.
His old high school had his Boise State jersey in the trophy case, so cool!
Fort Larned in Kansas
This is where they used to put the prisoners. Michael couldn't stand it for just a few seconds!
Historical town of Nicodemus, Kansas - This old building used to be a hotel.
Visiting family in Greeley, Colorado
On our way back home to Boise, Idaho! We were all pretty exhausted.
We had such a great time! This Friday we will be leaving Boise again, but this time we are going on a three-day camping trip to Alturas Lake in Idaho. There won't be as much time spent on the road, but I'm sure we will be making plenty of good memories all over again.
Thanks for joining me on a trip down memory lane!
