Snuggle Friday

I'm beyond excited that Friday is here! Bummer thing though is I came down with a cold : ( Looks like I'm just going to have to stay in my warm bed with a hot cup of tea and snuggle this sweet little face ALL weekend long. What a bummer.

Wishing you all a fantastic weekend!

The Great Outdoors

Sometimes there is nothing better for the soul than being surrounded by beautiful nature. The warm weather we have gotten here lately has really brought out the stunning shades of greens and blues and wildflowers are blooming all over the Boise foothills.

Of course my puppies could care less about natures artwork. They just want me to throw that dag-gum tennis ball in the water already! Good grief Mom, get with the program!

Finally!

My twin sister Aftin enjoying some shade . . .

. . . and trying to do some studying. She didn't get much done with the three musketeers constantly splashing water and insisting she join in on all the fun!

I think Whiskey is teasing me here, just look at that face!

Are you sick of dog pictures yet?! Well I'm done . . . for today.
Hope you all have a beautiful Wednesday!

Instagram Weekend

We were blessed with 80 degree weather this weekend!
I garage-saled.
I barbequed.
I took naps.
I snuggled puppies.
 I got sunburnt.
Success.

I'm on the final book of "The Hunger Games". Kind of makes me sad.

Idaho country sunset.

Who needs Joann Fabrics when you can get lace trim at a garage sale? Sweet!
(I definitely still need Joann Fabrics)

Pesto. One of the most important meals of the day.

Aren't we cute!?

Family support at my brother-in-law's track meet.

Hoping I'll share my ramen noodles.

Working With It

Since I've started working a lot more on my handmade pillows I've managed to create quite the mess on our kitchen table. I didn't really have a place to do all my sewing so it was where the needles, thread, scraps, and mountain of burlap started to collect. It was beginning to  drive the hubby and I nuts! Since our place is pretty small I need to use every little inch wisely and make it functional. I have to work with what I've got. So I decided to transform our guest bedroom closet into my workstation . . .

Before:

After:

Now I have a place to organize my finished rustic chic pillows:

I converted a shoe organizer into a place for displaying my fabrics:

I'm using the closet rod for hanging adorable laces and other trims:

This piece has been sitting in the back of my truck for months! I don't even know where it came from. I decided it would work perfect for holding my sewing accessories:

Mason jars hold twine, hot glue gun sticks, and fabric remnants:

This hanging frame adds a personal touch and holds the items I'll constantly be needing:

I'm so much more productive and happier working here. So long kitchen table!

See who I'm linking up with HERE!

From him [Christ] the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.—Ephesians 4:16 (NIV)
